I find email to be the best form of communication for me. At the start of the school year you should have recieved a sheet from me asking for your email address. If you have an email address, it would be good that I have it - I can get information to you much easier (and I can send it to many parents at a time too!)
If you have not been getting emails from me, either:
you never got the handout from your child.
your child never gave it to me
your email address was not written neatly enough
I mistyped your email into my address book
Please send me an email and I can add you to address book. I promise, I won't send any spam!
At one time I would send emails out weekly with homework information, class information, etc... but with blogs, it is much easier to get this type of information out by a blog post.
The emails will be less frequent, such as after a test, I let parents know know their child did, or I will send an email out to parents of children who owe a lot of work, etc.
