Required Supplies:
- Several pencils & ereasers
- Black Pens & white out.
- 8.5 x 11 binder paper.
- 3 x 5 Index cards
- Spiral notebook (get a few!)
- 3 ring binder for science only
- School Planner (provided)
Keep your eyes open for Back-to-School sales. Wal-Mart had 3 ring binders for 50 cents, notebooks for a dime, and everything else cheap. You could get all of this list for under $3. I will periodically collect notebooks & binders, so you will need a notebook & biner dedicated to science. Get a cheap, 1 inch 3 ring binder. It does not need to be a big heavy $8 binder! PJHS provides school planners. All the teachers require their use.
Recommended Supplies
- Calculator
- Ruler (metric- with centimeters!)
- Colored pencils
If your math facts are not up to speed, HAVE A CACLULATOR. All you need are basic functions, addition, subtraction, multiplication & division, and no you can not use the calculator on your cell phone.
Start of the Year Forms
PJHS will mail the forms home in early August and they need to be returned on the first day of school. In fact there are a few of those forms that are so "required" that if they do not show up, the student can not remain in class! I am going to try to get a hold of a set and post them online - probably on the PJHS site.
